My favorite actor is Won-Bin. He is very talented actor who is famous not only in Korea but also worldwide. He has appeared in numerous movies. Recently, i read a very interesting article about him and another famous Korean actor named Ahn Sung-Ki. It said that they had been chosen to be the first Korean actors to imprint their hand and foot print on the Walk of Frame in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. I felt very proud when i read this article. Of course there are a lot of other amazing Korean actor and actresses who deserve to be there but i was glad that my favorite actor, Won-bin received the honor.

One of the most memorable TV shows I have watched is an old American show called MacGyver. It was an action-adventure show starring Richard Dean Anderson who played a secret agent on the show. When MacGyver ran into a problem, he solved anything with his practical application of scientific knowledge and inventive use of common items along with his Swiss Army knife. I was only a little child when this show first came out. When I saw it, I thought MacGyver was the cleverest guy on earth! I love the show so much that I begged my parents to buy me a Swiss Army knife for my birthday so that I could become as clever as MacGyver.

I watch TV at least 10 or 30 minutes a day before bed to unwind from a busy day. I enjoy all kinds of TV programs buy my favorites are crime dramas, especially American ones. I prefer American dramas because I think the stories are better than in Korean shows. The writes come up with such brilliant action stories  and I love the twists and turns to the story while the main characters are trying to solve the crime! It’s a bit of a thrill when I can guess the criminal before the end of the show! This is why I like crime dramas.

Let me compare my university, Kyungnam University with Seoul University which is one of the most famous schools in Korea. Kyungnam University is a general university, but it specializes in computer engineering and its faculty is renowned nationwide. Compare to my school, Seoul University has a very long history and is also a general university, but each is renowned. Not only this, its tuition fee is very affordable. However, It doesn't have a dormitory. Seoul University may be one of the best but i still prefer my school because of it faculty.

Since, its foundation of Kookmin College in 1946 and its relocation to Masan in 1956. Currently, KU’six colleges comprise four undergraduate divisions and forty-six departments offering degrees at the bachelor's level, whereas six graduate schools confer a variety of degrees at both the master's and doctoral levels.

I like music regardless of the genre. I especially love listening to rap, as it’s rhythmic. It has a fast beat, and it’s so exciting that it often gets me in the mood for dancing. My favorite song at the moment is Eminem’s LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE. I love his powerful song and dance moves. His performances are always unique, and it makes me wonder how he comes up with his addictive choreography.  I usually listen to music, when I go to my university. Because it takes a long time and good way to kill the time. Music is like a wondrous remedy for me. When I’m tired, it relaxes me, and when I’m down, it cheers me up.

When was in high school, my English teacher used to say that if you want to speak English fluently, you need to speak something in English. After I listened to his talk, i decided to listen pop song in order to improve English listening and speaking skill. When I listened to pop song, it was like a new world of music. The singer rapped really well, and the song was really catchy. I thought the melody was unique and I couldn't get it out of my head. I totally fell in love with it. I’m still love the genre. 

Two of favorite musicians are SARAH Brightman and Kelly Clarkson. They are both female and write their own songs, but they are very different in many way. SARAH BRIGHTMAN has a very sweet voice and sings pop and opera. She won 4 Grammy Awards and sole over 40 million albums worldwide. On the other hand, Kelly Clarkson has an attractive voice and sings pop. By the end of 2009, billboard magazine named Kelly Clarkson the number one Pop Artist of the Decade. They are both extremely talented for different reasons, so it’s impossible for me to say who I like better.

Compare to the trends in my childhood, fashion trends have changed greatly. In the past, I remember that Disney characters were very popular. Regardless of age, both children and adults enjoy wearing a T-shirts with pictures of Mickey Mouse. It was cute. On the other hand, nowadays, people prefer something more elegant. For example, they prefer soft pastel color instead of vivid color. In my opinion, these days, people are more sensitive to fashion. personally, I prefer current fashion, as it looks more modern.

Technology has remarkable changed over the years. There are many kinds

of technology. but let's take the cellphone as an example.

In the past, cellphone were only to make or receive the phone call. they were bigger and heavier. At the time, they were expensive, so not everyone could have the one. On the other hand, nowadays, cellphones are almost like a small computer. it has many functions such as dictionary, internet, even GPS! You can see everyone playing with their cellphone on the subway. Technology certainly makes our live more convenient, but we should be award of its fast changing trends.

About a month ago, I was working on my report that was due the next day. I was typing really fast, and I was almost done with it. Just then, there was a blackout and I was too panicked to do anything. A few later, the power came back on. I checked my work on the computer, luckily, it seemed like everything was there, but the last part I had written was not there. I had forgotten to save my work. So I called a repairman, and he said it was impossible to restore my work. Through the experience, I learned that it’s important to save my work regularly. I paid the price to learn my lesson

Recently, I bought a table PC, so that I can use it when I go on a trip. It’s similar to the computer, yet I’s little different. It’s not too heavy, so I can keep it in my bad. With this, I can find directions and get useful information. When I first got it, I read the manual and tried out many things by myself. I got to work some of the simple functions, but I couldn’t do everything. I ended up asking my friend to teach me how to use it, as he is good with gadget. I played around with it for many hours after that. After a few days, I’m almost an expert.

There are many kinds of technology I use. I usually use the computer at work to write a report and do some research. I listen to music with my MP3 player every day. I use my SMARTPHONE the most these days, as it’s like a small computer. It’s thin and as big as my palm. It looks modern and stylish. It has many functions, and I can do almost everything. I can check email and chat with my friends. My SMARTPHONE is an essential item and I never leave home without it. 

The place i used to live when i was young is different from the one i'm living in now in many aspects. As a child, my old home was perfect, as it had a big backyard where i could run around with my dog. At the time, wee had five rooms and our living room was spacious. We had a lot of wooden furniture, so it looked somewhat old-fashioned. On the other hand, now, i'm living in a three-bedroom apartment on the 18th floor. Instead, there is a nice view of the city. All of the closets are built in, so we can use the space more efficiently. It's definitely modern. It's hard to say which one is better, but after i retire, i would like to live in a house.

My favorite room is kitchen. Because I love cooking. 

Recently i started to learn cooking in cooking class and I love trying new 

things in the kitchen. In kitchen, There are a table with chair and small sink

in living room. There is a good alarm system and ventilator. so i don't need to

worry about fire accident. I always cook Korean traditional food for my

parents. I'm happy If my parent enjoy eating my food.

I’m living in a two-bedroom apartment on the 11 floor. There is a nice view of the city. All of the closets are built in, so i can use the space more efficiently. It’s definitely modern. In my room, there are a bed and table with chair. There is a laptop on the table. I usually work on my report using my laptop. In the living room, there is a sofa and television. On the weekend, I used to watch the movie, lying on the sofa. In kitchen, there are two tables with chair. There has an alarm system. so I don't need to worry about fire accident.

I would like to live in a house after I get a job.

Last class, i was given 'the program about my university' as the subject from my professor. When i first got this subject, my mind went blank and i had no idea how to make it. The next day, i went to library to borrow a few books about programming. After that, I studied programming language for 5 months. I finally made a program. It had many function such as timetable or bus system. On the day of presentation, i could give a presentation very well in front of my professor who taught this class. I finally got an A+ score. After a few days, i heard that some student didn't make their own program and they ended up getting the F score.

When I was a freshman, I had to take science class, which was one of the required classes even though it was not related to my major. On the day of registration, I logged on to my school’s website and carried ‘confirm’. I printed out the class schedule and that’s when I realized that math class was not on the list! I went online again but unfortunately it was already full. So I called the school office and explained the situation. All they told me was that I had to wait until someone else dropped the class. So I sat in front of the computer checking for an available spot. After five hours, someone left the class and I was able to get in.

One of my favorite classes in my university is an android programming class. It's kind of programming classes. I enjoy talking this class. There is a reason why i like this class. First of all, i like a teaching style. Compare to this class with other classes, in the class, we cam learn how to make a program using personal computer. We can learn it really fast. On the other hand, in other classes, we need to learn from not computer but books. After lesson, we need to study lesson from beginning to end. On this account, android programming class is more interesting than other classes.
